County Municipal Liason Update 2021-02-18

1. MD Ready Text Alerts: As you know, the State of Maryland is operating a vaccine site at Six Flags. The County does not control nor manage the scheduling of these appointments. However, we want to encourage residents to sign up for appointments at that site as they open. We also want to encourage residents to text MDREADY to 898-211 to receive text alerts about the State site. When the State opens up vaccine appointments at Six Flags and mass vaccination clinics, they send out alerts to everyone who has signed up.
2. FYI – Vaccine Clinics Closed February 18: The County Health Department’s vaccination clinics are closed due to the inclement weather forecast. Individuals who have appointments will be rescheduled. This information has been posted on our vaccine webpage already as well:https://www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/3730/COVID-19-Vaccination
